The Laurel Oak Country Club of Sarasota Florida consists of 404 homes within an 813 acre gated country club community. The country club consists of 2, par 72, 18 hole golf courses, 12 tennis courts, junior Olympic swimming pool and a 45,000 square foot clubhouse.

The club has been member-owned since 1999. This member-owned country club is among Sarasota's finest golf club living and business networking opportunities in Sarasota today. The club offers 600 Golf, 240 Tennis, and unlimited Social Memberships. Residency in the community is not required for membership.

Laurel Oak has been host to many tournaments and events. Currently is the site for the Michelob Ultra-Lite National Tournaments. In addition, Laurel Oak has been the site for the Sarasota area Special Olympic Fund Raising Tournament as well as hosted the U.S. Open qualifying tournament.

The West Course was completely re-designed by Rees Jones in 2005 and the playing conditions on this course are exceptional. It is 6934 yards from the black tee box, 4647 from the white.

The East Course is a Gary Player Signature Course and was completed in 1995. Despite the age of this course, it remains one of the best in Sarasota. It is 6,875 yards from the black tee box, 4,673 from the white.

In the summer months Laurel Oak has reciprocal agreements with 20 other golf clubs from Tampa to Naples. Membership benefits can also be enjoyed at the Bird Key Yacht Club.
